In general, events are for guests 21 and over. However there are some exceptions, please inquire regarding the event in question.
Yes. Make sure you bring plenty of business cards. If you do not have business cards with you, don't expect your new contacts to remember you.
There is no need for printed tickets. Your name should be listed on the door. However, if you RSVP’d on the day of the event, it is best to bring a copy of your receipt just in case you are not listed on the registration list.
Name Badges are filled out as you arrive so your guests name is not necessary.
Bring a lot of business cards. You can never have too many, you never know how many good contacts you will meet.
Absolutely. Have your guest give your name at registration.
No. A resume is not needed for the event. If you meet someone you would like to give your resume to, make a note to email them after the event.

PLEASE NOTE: All submissions of content must be received no later than 5:00 pm on the evening of the said event. Once all information is gathered, please allow up to 48 hours after the event to post all content on the website and to send the recap emails. There is no negotiation with the deadline. This is set in place to make sure content is distributed in a timely fashion.
All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unsure that you can attend the event, we offer a pay at the door option which is payable upon arrival.
Events are business casual. Most guests are coming directly from work and therefore wear their work attire.

The Lighthouse currently employs over 470 individuals, more than 260 of whom are blind, DeafBlind, or blind with other disabilities. Lighthouse employees have access to a wide range of career opportunities and comprehensive training programs allowing them to create products and provide services of outstanding quality for our customers. In addition to providing employment opportunities, the Lighthouse offers a wide range of programs and services for employees who are blind and DeafBlind. Computer training classes, braille courses, our acclaimed DeafBlind Retreat, and DeafBlind Community Classes as well as a program to educate elementary school students about blindness are just a few of the employee and community services we offer.
